Dr David Logan retired in 2015 after 41 years of pastoral ministry. David lives on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland with his wife, Christine – together they have 4 children

and 6 grandchildren.

David is a credentialed minister with the Australian Christian Churches and a credentialed chaplain with Chaplaincy Australia.  He holds degrees in

Trauma Management (Associate),   Arts/Psychology (Bachelor), Ministry (Masters) and  Theology (Doctorate).

In addition to pastoral/church ministry, David has served in several denominational leadership roles in the

CRC Movement (served as NSW then Victorian State Secretary, National Secretary and as a member of the State and National Executives) then the AoG / ACC (District Executive North Coast District, leading the Tablelands sub-region).  Dave served as a University Chaplain (LaTrobe University, Bendigo) and as an Emergency Services Chaplain in Northern NSW.  Dave also served Teen Challenge (Victoria) as an admission assessor for 6 years and Lecturer at Crusade College of Ministry (Victoria) and Video Bile School.

Dave served as a Board member of Chairo Christian School, an interdenominational Christian School in Warragul/Drouin, Victoria (Vice Chair 6 years, Chair 3 years), West Gippsland Hospital Ethics Committee (2 years) & Grief and Trauma Committee (2 years), Member of Police Community Consultative Committee in Victoria (Q District) and was a Member of the Duval High School Board (3 years), a member of the Board of Directors of Jobs Australia (8 years) and is a member of the International High IQ Society.

Dave loves sport, with football ("soccer") being his sporting passion. Dave has refereed football in 3 States at just about all levels. He currently referees football on the Sunshine Coast with the Churches Football Association (around 4,000 registered players) and is Secretary of the SCCRA (the referee body associated with the local competition)
