Message / Question
When we say that Jesus was human, did he go through puberty, and was he attracted to women?
Response
Jesus was fully human, He was born in the usual way, He had to learn to walk and talk as any other child and His physical development like all other men – so, yes, He went through puberty and, one must make the assumption that He was attracted to women. I must note here, that being attracted to women simply made Him a normal heterosexual male so He faced the same temptations as any other man. He did, however, remain without sin. Being attracted to someone is not a sin in itself, the issue is your response to that attraction. The Bible makes it clear that sexual relationship outside of Biblical marriage (i.e. a monogamous relationship between one man and one woman) would be sin, so Jesus clearly controlled any physical attraction that He felt and remained without sin. That is exactly what He expects us to do as well!
