Faithfulness

You said God measures us based on the size of our faithfulness. Doesn't God measure us based on His faithfulness?

Our salvation is absolutely dependent upon His faithfulness and we are counted as sons (and daughters) of God because of His faithfulness. However, in the way that we live as Christians, God calls us to be faithful to Him and to the calling that He has placed on our life. When we stand before God, the judgment that we will face will not be about whether we enter heaven or not, that call has already been made, our guilt has been wiped out because of the Cross. Our judgment will be based on how faithful we have been to our calling, and we will receive “rewards” (some say “crowns”, but the Bible is not really specific) based on that faithfulness. Being faithful to Him and His calling is our greatest challenge and responsibility in this life.
